Where music meets mission: Having a BPM DJ at your event

In the dynamic realm of music and recovery, events play a pivotal role for BPM Rehab’s students.

Beyond the pulsating rhythms and vibrant lights, these events serve as a powerful stage for showcasing the newfound skills our clients have acquired in rehabilitation.

It’s not just about the music; it’s a profound display of success, a testament to resilience, and a confidence-building experience for young individuals, boosting their self-esteem.

Events:

Over the last year, BPM DJs have performed at a range of corporate events and conferences for providers of brain injury services.

At the Headway Salford Charity Event, two of our brilliant students performed to a packed crowd in the function room.

This enabled the young people to take a big step out of their comfort zone, one of them performing for the first time after tutoring and preparation from DJ Misschief.

Last month, BPM successfully took the stage at the 2024 Frenkel Topping Group Get Together, embodying the themes of resilience presented during the event by putting on an amazing show.

Our DJs bring brilliance to events hosted by groups working with brain injury, as their performances skilfully personify and celebrate the very essence of the work being championed at these gatherings.

BPM also had the honour of being requested to DJ at numerous conferences over the past year.

This included the BIS’ Let’s Talk About Cannabis Conference, The NR SIG June Conference and the Paediatric Rehabilitation Conference.

Here, the theme was ‘Inspiring Therapies For The Future’, a theme that directly resonates with the work of BPM to promote DJing as an alternative to traditional music therapy.

The platform that these conferences provide allows us to truly display this theme- demonstrating the work and success of future-thought therapies in action.

DJing at the UKABIF summit was also an incredible night for our students, as they introduced the conference with a bang, showcasing their DJ skills to bring together brain injury professionals in different fields to the dance floor.

Accessible Festival, an event that we contribute to every year, is always a highlight, and the last festival in 2022 was no different.

Providing young people with a festival experience that would otherwise be inaccessible and bringing together individuals and families with shared experiences serves to create an unforgettable environment and an atmosphere of utter fun.

An athletics centre and track in Bury, is transformed into an environment of music and sensory experience with a range of different bands, DJs and other entertainers, light displays and other experiences.

There is even a petting farm!

Looking to the upcoming year we are extremely happy to announce that the Accessible Festival is returning.

With new developments, it is set to be the best one yet, and is not to be missed out on.

As always, volunteers and corporate sponsors are necessary for these events, so feel free to reach out and contact us at https://www.bpm.rehab/contact.

We are also looking forward to our upcoming conferences including the CBITUK Conference 2024 and the Neurons and Nature Festival 2024 in Swansea.

Why our events are important:

Our events stand as crucial milestones in the journey of young individuals, aiming not only to entertain but also to uplift and empower.

By immersing themselves in the world of DJ rehabilitation, participants witness a transformative experience that goes beyond music.

The events serve as powerful platforms to cultivate self-esteem, confidence, and social interaction, fostering personal growth in our youth.

In a society that increasingly values real-world experiences, our events become invaluable stepping stones, offering tangible work experience for those aspiring to carve a career path in this field.

Moreover, these gatherings shine a spotlight on alternative rehabilitation, challenging conventional norms and promoting diverse pathways to success.

Each event becomes an opportunity, demonstrating the remarkable achievements possible through rehabilitation, showcasing the triumphs and resilience of our participants.

For companies with a rehabilitative focus, having our DJs orchestrate the event is not just entertainment; it’s a tangible manifestation of success in rehabilitation.

It offers a unique opportunity for these companies to witness the fruits of rehabilitation firsthand and align themselves with the transformative power they advocate for, fostering a deeper connection with their mission.
