Resilience Neuro Specialists and Tees Neuro unite to expand complex outpatient neurorehabilitation

Case managers and serious injury solicitors supporting people after brain injury, spinal cord injury and other complex neurological conditions will have greater choice and capacity for specialist outpatient rehabilitation as Tees Neuro joins Resilience Neuro Specialists.

On 1 November 2026, the established Billingham therapy centre became Resilience Neuro Tees, working alongside Resilience Neuro Warwickshire.

The two teams are coming together as Resilience Neuro Specialists to increase capacity for complex outpatient and community rehabilitation, share specialist expertise and help referrers build personalised rehabilitation around each client’s clinical needs, circumstances and goals.

For clients, this means more specialist knowledge behind their rehabilitation and stronger continuity across different stages of recovery.

For case managers and solicitors, it means access to two locally led services through a connected professional network, with expertise spanning hands-on therapy, multidisciplinary rehabilitation and advanced neurotechnology.

The partnership brings together two therapy-led services combining specialist clinical expertise with advanced rehabilitation technology.

Across the network, services include neuro physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, neuropsychology, neuropsychiatry, specialist dietetics and consultant-led rehabilitation medicine, alongside intensive rehabilitation, FND support, robotic-assisted therapy, gait and motion analysis, and functional electrical stimulation.

Tees Neuro has provided centre-based and community rehabilitation from Billingham since 2018, supporting adults across the North East and North Yorkshire.

The new relationship gives the Tees service the backing and wider professional connections to grow while remaining under local clinical control.

Victoria MacGregor will continue as Clinical Director, leading the existing team and retaining responsibility for the service.

Resilience Neuro Specialists opened its Warwickshire therapy centre in summer 2025.

Just over a year later, the addition of Tees creates a two-region network supported by therapists, consultants and specialist associates. The teams will share clinical knowledge, training and experience while carefully developing their capacity to support complex neurorehabilitation.

Victoria MacGregor, clinical director of Resilience Neuro Tees, said: “This is really positive news for our team and for the people we support.

“We have worked hard over the last eight years to build a service that is personal, ambitious and rooted in the needs of our local community.

“Joining Resilience gives us the freedom to continue that work under my clinical leadership, while giving us greater scope to develop, support more complex cases and make even better use of our team’s skills and neurotechnology.

“Case managers, solicitors and clients will still work with the Tees team they know and trust, but with the added strength of the wider Resilience network behind us.”

Michelle Kudhail, clinical director of Resilience Neuro Specialists, said: “When we opened the Resilience Therapy Centre in Warwickshire last year, our aim was to make high-quality, technology-supported neurorehabilitation more accessible outside hospital settings.

“To be expanding into a second region just one year later is an important milestone for us.

“As we got to know Vicky and the Tees team over the last year, it became clear how closely our ethos and approach align.

“We both believe rehabilitation should be personal, ambitious and built around what matters to each individual.

“By coming together, we can offer referrers greater depth and capacity while protecting the clinical leadership, relationships and local knowledge that already make both services strong.”

The name Resilience Neuro Tees came into effect on 1 November 2026.

Existing appointments, telephone numbers and contacts will continue, while information about the Tees team, facilities, services and referral routes is now available on the Resilience Neuro Specialists website.
