Cygnet Social Care named ‘Complex Care Provider of the Year’ at HealthInvestor Awards

Cygnet Social Care has been named Complex Care Provider of the Year (Large Group) at the HealthInvestor Awards, recognising the outstanding commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support for individuals across its residential, supported living, day and care home settings.

The award celebrates a landmark year for Cygnet Social Care, marked by significant growth, strong outcomes and continued investment in services that empower people to live fuller, more independent lives.

Judges said: “Cygnet has shown itself to be a market leader, not only in service provision and positive outcomes, but also in innovation and community outreach.

Despite its size, Cygnet remains focused on the needs of individual residents, enriching their lives and engaging with the community, through initiatives like Hartnell’s cafe and Cygnet’s got Talent.

The win also continues Cygnet’s strong track record at the HealthInvestor Awards, marking the third consecutive year that the organisation has received recognition at the event.

Following previous successes, including being named Specialist Care Provider of the Year in 2025, this latest accolade further demonstrates Cygnet Social Care’s position as one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist services for adults with autism, learning disabilities and those requiring neurological complex care and elderly care within the UK

The HealthInvestor Awards are among the most respected accolades in the independent health and social care sector, recognising organisations that demonstrate excellence, innovation and measurable impact.

Gareth Williams, CEO of Cygnet Social Care, said: “We are incredibly proud to have been named Complex Care Provider of the Year.

“This award is a testament to the passion, professionalism and dedication of our colleagues, who make a positive difference and improve people’s lives every single day.

“The past year has been one of significant growth for Cygnet Social Care.

“We have welcomed new services and colleagues into the organisation, expanded the number of people we support and continued to invest in delivering the highest standards of care which places individuals at the very heart of what we do.

“What makes this recognition particularly special is that it reflects the impact our teams have on the lives of the people we support.

“Everything we do is focused on helping individuals achieve greater independence, build confidence and live the lives they choose.”

Professor Tony Romero, Group CEO, added: “To be recognised as Complex Care Provider of the Year reflects not only the scale of the division’s growth, but the quality, compassion and expertise that underpin every service.

“Over the past year, Cygnet Social Care has expanded significantly while remaining true to its values and commitment to person-centred care.

“Winning at the HealthInvestor Awards for a third consecutive year is a tremendous achievement and demonstrates the consistency, innovation and dedication that colleagues across Cygnet bring to their work every day.

“For Cygnet Social Care, the HealthInvestor Award is recognition of the life-changing support delivered every day across its services, and of the colleagues who empower hundreds of individuals to develop new skills, achieve personal goals and live as independently as possible.”
