Who will be crowned the people’s choice for Leader of the Year?

The public are being called upon to vote for who they think should be crowned Leader of of the Year at the second annual NR Times Awards.

The award will recognise the individual, from whatever branch of neuro-rehab they operate in, who has truly excelled in their field through leadership, contribution, commitment and compassion.

The award will be chosen by a public vote from a pre-determined shortlist following the nominations process.

Nominations for this award close at midnight on July 31st. Voting will commence after that.

The People’s Choice – Leader of the Year Award is sponsored by St Andrew’s Healthcarea charity working to improve the lives of people with complex mental health needs.

St Andrew’s delivers a range of specialist inpatient and community mental healthcare services in partnership with NHS, voluntary, educational and research organisations.

A spokesperson for St Andrew’s said: “Good neuro-rehab is about helping people to live well following a brain injury and equipping them with the tools and strategies that they will need to face the challenges they may encounter during their recovery.

“Making a difference through neuro-rehab to the lives of people living with a brain injury is key to our approach at St Andrew’s – that’s why we’re delighted to sponsor this award for the person who has excelled in this field.”

The award is one of 13 up for grabs, with winners announced at a virtual ceremony in October.
