National care provider Agincare has acquired Devonshire Avenue Care Home in Beeston, Nottingham, safeguarding vital support for residents and securing local jobs.
The CQC-registered home provides a purpose-built environment for up to 20 young adults living with learning and physical disabilities, supporting their personal care, independence and life skills development.
Devonshire Avenue becomes part of one of England’s leading family-owned care providers, with more than 170 locations nationwide and a workforce of 5,500 people.

“Agincare has extensive experience managing care service transfers from charities, local authorities and other providers, always with a focus on stability, continuity and high-quality support.

Existing team members, with their skills and experience, are being welcomed into Agincare as part of the acquisition.
They will be supported by a dedicated Registered Manager and Operations Director, working closely with local authority partners across the East Midlands.
Devonshire Avenue was formerly part of Ambient Support charity, which ceased trading in October 2025, and has since been operated by a managing agent appointed by administrators.
It joins some 80 former Ambient services previously safeguarded by Agincare in 2025, protecting support for around 700 people and securing 800 jobs nationwide.
Agincare, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2026, delivers personalised, high-quality care through a broad range of services, including home care, live-in care, care and nursing homes, supported living, training, and not-for-profit children’s services.
