Booking is now open for the BABICM Conference 2024, with the two day event set to shine a light on clinical excellence within neuro-rehab.

The conference, always a key date in the diary for case management and associate professions, will be held on June 18 and 19 2024, and will again be held at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

The theme will be Great Expectations: Spotlight on Clinical Excellence, and will address the repeated themes that arise for case managers in supporting clients after life-changing brain and complex injury.

Two main topics will be covered in-depth at the event:

Day one – Look Beyond the Label – Clinical Issues

The topics on the first day of the conference will look at important and sometimes overlooked clinical aspects for injured clients and consider evidence-based approaches to support progress and recovery

Day two – Professional Practice

The second day of the conference will focus on overarching themes and skill development for case managers and their practice.

Confirmed speakers so far include:

  • Catherine Johnson, care and case management expert
  • Dr Naveen Kumar, consultant in spinal injuries
  • Dr David Lee, chartered psychologist
  • Mark Menezes, behavioural optometrist
  • Dr Louise Newson, GP and menopause specialist
  • Anna Watkiss, psychologist and clinical lead

The event will also again include an exhibition hall with stands from specialist providers to those working in neuro-rehab, enabling delegates to see the latest products and services to support clients.
