Nominations for the 2026 NR Times Awards People’s Choice: Leader of the Year Award close at midnight on 30 September, giving colleagues across the sector just weeks left to put forward someone who deserves to be recognised.
The award is open to individuals working in any branch of neuro-rehab and is designed to celebrate someone who has made an exceptional contribution through their leadership, dedication, compassion and commitment to the field.
If someone immediately comes to mind, now is the time to nominate them. Waiting could mean missing the opportunity altogether.

The Leader of the Year Award provides an opportunity to shine a light on those individuals whose contribution may otherwise go unrecognised.
It could be a senior figure who has helped shape services, a clinician who consistently inspires those around them, or someone whose leadership and compassion have had a lasting impact on the people they support.
The award is particularly significant because the eventual winner will be chosen by public vote.
Following the nomination process, a shortlist will be created before voting opens, giving the wider neuro-rehab community the chance to decide who should take the title.
