The Parkinson’s Disease Gordon Research Conference will focus on molecular mechanisms and their translation into human Parkinson’s disease research.

The 2027 meeting will examine developments in genetics, alpha-synuclein biology, neuroimmune mechanisms, lysosomal and proteostatic pathways, lipid and membrane biology, RNA biology, biomarkers and human-relevant disease models.

Sessions will connect molecular and cellular mechanisms with differences observed between patients. Topics will include disease initiation and progression, protein aggregation and co-pathology, endolysosomal and mitochondrial pathways, RNA-protein homeostasis, clinical cohorts and emerging biomarker frameworks.

The five-day programme is designed around scientific presentations, discussion and informal interaction, with dedicated poster sessions and networking opportunities. The conference will consider how research can support disease stratification, biomarker development, therapeutic target prioritisation and future clinical testing.

Where:

Rey Don Jaime Grand Hotel
Avinguda de l’Hotel
