Last chance to nominate for the lifetime achievement award

There’s still time to put forward your nomination for the NR Times Lifetime Achievement Award.

This honour is one of nine categories in the third annual NR Times Awards and recognises someone who has made a lasting contribution to neuro-rehabilitation.

We welcome entries highlighting impact through research, innovation, leadership, advocacy or direct work with patients and families.

Last year’s winner was Dominic Hurley, a brain injury survivor turned support worker who has raised over £100,000 for charities and plans to publish his story in a book.

Gordon Stribling, Commercial Editor at Aspect Publishing, said: “This award shines a light on those who dedicate their lives to advancing brain and spinal rehabilitation, from professionals to survivors who inspire through lived experience.”

Nominations close on September 30, with judging taking place in October.

Winners will be revealed on November 19 at a virtual ceremony and will receive a trophy plus an interview with an NR Times journalist.

Both winners and finalists will also feature across our website, social channels and newsletter.
