The search is on for the Neuro-Rehab Care Provider of the Year.
The NR Times Awards, held this year for the first time, are seeking to shine a light on the providers whose work is helping to change lives through the care, rehabilitation and support they deliver to survivors and families.
Delivering outstanding care – whether in a residential or community setting – to people after life-changing illness or injury can enable them to achieve outcomes beyond all expectations and equip them for the maximum independence in their life ahead.
The support delivered by care providers can be fundamental in the quality of life of patients and families, is often credited with transforming what was thought possible.
The Neuro-Rehab Care Provider of the Year Award, one of 12 open for entry in the NR Times Awards, is open to both private and NHS care providers and care settings.
The award is sponsored by Embrace HR, a specialist HR provider to Court of Protection teams. It provides solicitors, deputies, case managers and families with HR support including administration, the provision of contracts and recruitment.
Cecily Lalloo, managing director of Embrace HR, says: “Our clients require the highest standards of care to provide for their continuing rehabilitation, and we are delighted to be sponsoring the award for Neuro-Rehab Care Provider of the Year.
“We provide support to deputies, Court of Protection teams, case managers and families so that they employ support and rehabilitation staff for the benefit of our clients who have acquired brain injury.
“With their dedication and that of the multi-disciplinary teams and care providers that support the client, their tireless work in rehabilitation must be recognised.”
Deborah Johnson, editor of NR Times, adds: “The care a person receives after life-changing illness or injury can truly be transformative in the life they go on to lead – through impactful neuro-rehab and the support of a dedicated and innovative team, survivors and whole families can look to the future with so much more positivity.
“The aim of the Neuro-Rehab Care Provider of the Year award is to shine a light on some of the excellent practice we are seeing around the country, whether from a provider of one single site or across multiple locations, or whether it is community or home-based care that is being delivered – we want to hear about the innovations, initiatives and success stories that are changing people’s lives and futures.
“Our grateful thanks go to Embrace HR for their support of this award, which will enable us to give due recognition to those who work so hard everyday for the benefit of others.”
