Entries for the Kindness in Brain Injury Care Award at the NR Times Awards 2026 close on 30 September, so now is the time to put forward a colleague, team or organisation that goes above and beyond to deliver outstanding care.
Introduced for this year’s awards, the category recognises an individual or team who brings not only skill and expertise to their role, but a profound sense of compassion and humanity.
Sponsored by The Silverlining Brain Injury Charity, the award reflects the charity’s belief that ‘Kindness Changes Everything’.
For almost 20 years, The Silverlining has supported people affected by brain injury, helping survivors and their families not only through recovery, but towards rediscovery.
Its work is built around kindness, creativity, opportunity and shared hope, with a programme of online activities, local meet-ups and projects designed to help people connect and grow.
If you know a care professional, support worker, therapist, case manager or team whose kindness has made a genuine difference, now is the time to nominate them.
The NR Times Awards are free to enter and the process is designed to be straightforward.
Entrants simply need to complete the online form and can attach supporting evidence to strengthen their submission.
Entries for the Kindness in Brain Injury Care Award, along with all other NR Times Awards 2026 categories, must be submitted by 30 September.
