Breakthrough Case Management has secured a CQC outstanding rating at its first inspection.
The change-making case management company, established in 2018, was hailed for its ‘personal touch’ and commitment to outcomes, maintaining its ethos despite its strong growth.
Ambitious Breakthrough has spoken about its desire to revolutionise how rehab services are delivered, with a view to driving up quality, and are working on pioneering digital solutions as part of its quest to transform case management.
In its first CQC inspection, held in March this year, the service has secured the best possible rating.
Amanda Stride, CQC’s head of adult social care inspection, said: “When we inspected Breakthrough Case Management, we found a service that was incredibly well-run.
“The two directors had worked hard to ensure the growing service retained the personal touch. They knew people well and supported staff to navigate complex family relationships and emotions to promote the best outcomes for people.
“The whole team deserves to be congratulated for their commitment to provide exemplary care and support to people at a particularly challenging time in their lives.”
Director and registered manager, Catrin May said the team are “ecstatic” with the rating.
“We strive to provide the very best care for all of our clients and to have had such wonderful feedback is a fantastic credit to everyone who works for Breakthrough, our wonderful case managers, support workers and administration staff,” she said.
“This is the best motivation to continue to provide the highest standard of care and rehabilitation.”
Fellow director, nominated individual and co-founder, Annabelle Lofthouse, adds: “I could not be more proud of the entire Breakthrough team.
“This is wonderful validation for Breakthrough: who we are, how we make the difference and what we stand for.
“To achieve this recognition following our first inspection is a significant and much valued milestone. ”
