Case Management Firm of the Year shortlist unveiled

The finalists in the Case Management Company of the Year at the first-ever NR Times Awards have been revealed.

The eight-strong shortlist was decided on the strength of the submissions, all of which clearly demonstrated outstanding practice and commitment to clients.

The finalists in the category are:

Breakthrough Case Management

Circle Case Management

Corporé

Emma Way Associates

Enable Therapy Services

HCML

Maia Rehabilitation

West Country Case Management

One of 12 categories in the inaugural NR Times Awards, sponsored by Elysium Healthcare, the Awards seek to highlight the innovation and excellence being seen across the world of neuro-rehab, nationally and globally.

The Case Management Firm of the Year category was created to recognise those businesses and case managers truly going the extra mile for clients and their families, and supporting them to achieve truly life-changing outcomes.

The award is sponsored by Morrello Clinics, which provides outpatient and community neuro-rehab services across South West England and South Wales.

It employs neuro physios, OTs and technicians to deliver specialist therapy for adults and children, and also uses advanced rehab tech to secure best possible outcomes for clients.

Jakko Brouwers, clinical director of Morrello Clinics, says:

“Morrello strives to transform people’s lives through excellence in rehabilitation. Case managers also play a crucial role in transforming lives after injury, which is why we decided to sponsor these awards.”

Following the shortlisting process, judging is now underway.

Each category will be judged by its individual sponsor, plus a panel of independent judges – although any with a conflict of interest in a category will be exempt:

  • John Davis, renowned neurotrauma specialist and consultant principal lawyer at Slater and Gordon
  • Vicki Gilman, chair of BABICM and founder of Social Return
  • Luke Griggs, chief executive of Headway
  • Chloe Hayward, chief executive of UKABIF

The winners will be revealed in our online NR Times Awards ceremony on October 26.

In addition to the 11 categories which are judged by our panel, the Rehab Leader of the Year Award is decided by public vote, with scores of votes already being cast for our finalists.
