Awards set to celebrate those going ‘above and beyond’

Healthcare is a field in which the phrase ‘above and beyond’ is regularly and rightly used to describe the selfless dedication of those working within the sector.

Now, NR Times is looking to recognise the commitment of individuals, teams or whole organisations in truly going that extra mile, going ‘above and beyond’ their line of work to achieve something remarkable.

The award is one of 14 to feature at the second annual NR Times Awards following the success of last year’s inaugural event.

The Above and Beyond Award is sponsored by BIS Services – an award winning specialist provider of cognitive rehabilitation and support services in the community, with an aim to maximise function in clients who are living with a brain injury or neurological illness.

Working within a multi and inter disciplinary team, the organisation’s fully trained rehabilitation assistants improve outcomes and enable clients and their families to manage the effects of brain injury effectively.

Aspect Publishing Commercial Editor, Gordon Stribling, said: “Countless individuals, teams and organisations in the healthcare sector go above and beyond every day.

“We look forward to giving a platform to those who do this work not for the recognition but to help transform lives and outcomes.”
