The Parkinson’s Foundation has expanded its network in the US to help more Parkinson’s patients access the care and support they need to enhance their life quality.
The new additions are in Nevada, Utah, New Hampshire and Virginia, with the organisation seeking to provide Parkinson’s care nationwide.
Its ‘Global Care Network’ aims to close the gap between those receiving comprehensive care and support, and those unable to access it.

“We re interested in recognising centres in the US that are leading Parkinson’s care and bringing forward new treatments and practices that are improving patient outcomes,” he added.
“Following a rigorous process to receive this designation, we are thrilled to be the first-ever Comprehensive Care Center in the Gulf Coast region,” said David Houghton, medical director of one of the new centres. “We are proud to join this larger network of high-quality sites that actively make a difference in communities by providing comprehensive care to people with Parkinson’s disease.”
