Brain injury charity SameYou shortlisted for prestigious British award

Brain injury charity SameYou has been shortlisted for the 2025 British Diversity Awards Charity of the Year award.

The charity has been shortlisted for the Charity or Non-profit of the Year award at the 2025 British Diversity Awards.

SameYou – a UK and USA registered charity – works for change in brain injury care, highlighting the problems with lack of neurorehabilitation, promoting holistic and ongoing support for brain injury survivors after they leave initial care in their hospitals.

Established by Jenny Clarke and Emmy-nominated actor Emilia Clarke – popularly known as Game of Thrones character Daenerys Targaryen – after both experiences brain injuries. Jenny suffered two aneurysms while Emilia suffered two brain haemorrhages.

Both Jenny and Emelia received MBE awards for services to people with brain injuries in 2024.

The Diversity Awards are aimed at promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion by recognising individuals and organizations who strive to make workplaces and society more inclusive for all.

The winner will be announced on March 19, 2025.
