Scores set to attend annual cerebral palsy webinar

Scores of people have already signed up for a webinar which will shine a light on the work of charities and professionals in supporting families affected by Cerebral Palsy

The webinar, an annual event, returns next week with more sign-ups than ever – and anyone with a personal or professional interest in Cerebral Palsy can join, with numerous families, clinicians, carers and support staff already committing to attend.

The event will bring together ten charities dedicated to supporting individuals who live with Cerebral Palsy and their families, and highlights the way in which relationships are built over the course of many years.

Hosted by Slater and Gordon, which itself works closely with families impacted by Cerebral Palsy, in partnership with NR Times, attendees can pose questions to the charities, as well as to experts from the law firm.

The free event, held during Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month, will take place online on Wednesday, March 19, from midday.

The charities taking part will be:

  • Amaze Sussex
  • Cerebral Palsy Cymru
  • Cerebral Palsy Scotland
  • CPotential
  • Dame Vera Lynn Children’s Charity
  • Heel & Toe
  • Paces Sheffield
  • Seashell Trust
  • Stick ‘n’ Step
  • Whoopsadaisy

Emma Doughty, head of clinical negligence at Slater and Gordon, says: “This webinar provides a forum not only to highlight the amazing contribution of charities to the lives of families affected by Cerebral Palsy, but also offers the chance to ask questions.

“This can be hugely important, and can help people get the information they need or didn’t know where to find, in a really informal setting.

“We are so pleased that so many people will again be attending this webinar, and our team look forward to seeing those who have attended previously, and to welcoming guests who will be joining us for the first time this year.”
