Have you nominated your NR inspiration yet?

NR Times is once again set to recognise inspirational figures from across the brain and spinal injury pathway at its annual awards event.

The Inspirational Contribution award sponsored by Tru Rehab will tell stories of hope and inspiration, through patients achieving huge and unexpected milestones, to dedicated clinicians supporting clients to achieve new heights.

Tru Rehab is a specialist Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) rehabilitation facility, which operates within residential units and community outreach to provide a full pathway of active rehabilitation, pre- community re-entry, supported living and community re-integration, including repatriation to original locality.

The award is one of nine honours at this year’s NR Times Awards, which celebrate exemplary approaches, strong leadership, innovation and dedication in brain and spinal care.

Last year’s Inspirational Contribution award-winner Martin Gascoigne told NR Times: “The award was very much a surprise. I’m pleased in a lot of ways that what I’m doing seems to be the correct approach.

“Other people seem to agree with that, and the fact that what I’m doing, and certainly what my company is doing, is different to other people within the sector.

“To be recognised is a very nice thing, and it means that I’m doing something correctly.”

Entering the award is about sharing stories that matter.

It could be a breakthrough moment in therapy, a community initiative, a research project with real-world impact or a personal journey of resilience.

By sharing these stories, you not only honour your nominee’s efforts or your own, but also offer hope and motivation to countless others walking similar paths.

It’s also a great opportunity to connect with other neuro rehab professionals and promote your work on our channels.

Winners and shortlisted entries will receive extensive coverage across all NR Times platforms, including our website, social media and newsletter.

Winners will also receive a physical award and the opportunity to be interviewed by an NR Times journalist.

Enter the Inspirational Contribution award by September 30.
