The award is one of 14 up for grabs at the second annual NR Times Awards, with winners announced at a virtual ceremony on November 29.
The Gloval Impact award is a testament to the dedication, innovation, and perseverance of those who strive to push the boundaries of what’s possible in neuro rehabilitation.
It award honours pioneers—clinicians, researchers, organisations, and advocates—who have demonstrated outstanding achievements and contributed to global advancements in neuro rehabilitation.

ONWARD Medical is leading the way to finding a method of restoring movement, function, and independence in people with spinal cord injury (SCI).
Its investigational ARC Therapy is targeted stimulation of the spinal cord designed to restore movement, function, and independence in people living with spinal cord injury.
The technology was built on more than a decade of scientific discovery, preclinical, and clinical research conducted at leading hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, and neuroscience laboratories.

This exciting MRC/NIHR/MoD/ARUK funded initiative will bring together existing TBI research data and samples gathered in past and ongoing research programs in the UK and make it more accessible to scientists.
TBI-REPORTER will also establish a network of centres across the UK to support clinical trials of novel treatments.
By doing so, we hope to aid the development of new diagnostic techniques, therapeutic interventions, and personalized treatments for TBI.
TBI-REPORTER will cover all age groups, including children and older adults, as well as particular groups like military personnel, athletes, prisoners, homeless individuals, and victims of domestic violence.
