Time is running out to get your nominations in for our lifetime achievement award

Time is running out for you to nominate a worthy winner for our 2025 lifetime achievement award.

The award is one of nine to feature at the third annual NR Times Awards and will celebrate an individual who has devoted their professional or personal life to advancing the field of neuro-rehabilitation.

Whether through research, innovation, advocacy, leadership, or hands-on work with patients and families, we want to hear your recommendations.

The Lifetime Achievement award is sponsored by Proclaim Group.

Proclaim Group brings together award-winning specialist rehabilitation, vocational and occupational therapy services through three specialist companies – Proclaim Care, Obair Associates and Resolve Health.

The group offers training to insurers, solicitors, clinicians and employers through its specialist training academy.

Proclaim Group’s services are outcome focused to support adults and children impacted by an illness or injury. The vocational services assist a return to work.

Last year’s award was won by brain injury survivor Dominic Hurley, who now works as a brain injury support worker.

Dominic has also raised more than £100,000 for charitable causes close to his heart and hopes to write a book about his experience.

Aspect Publishing Commercial Editor, Gordon Stribling, said: “We are proud to recognise those individuals who have dedicated their lives to brain and spinal rehabilitation, from researchers and rehab professions to survivors who share their stories to inspire others.”

You have until September 30 to get your nomination in for this award, with entries shortlisted and judged throughout October.

The winner of this and all other awards will be announced at a virtual ceremony in November (date TBC).

Winners will receive a physical award and interview with an NR Times journalist.

Both winners and shortlisted entries will receive extensive coverage across our website, social media and newsletter.
