Evolve Case Management recently held its inaugural “Life After Litigation” conference that brought together more than 70 professionals from across the case management and rehabilitation sectors.
Taking place at The Drawing Room in Acklam Hall, Middlesbrough, home to Evolve Case Management’s offices, the conference explored the multifaceted challenges individuals face after litigation, including emotional, financial, legal, and social considerations.
Chaired by Alastair White of Hamberley Neurocare, the day featured a diverse line-up of speakers addressing topics such as rehabilitation, ongoing care, financial planning, recruitment, values-driven support, and advance care planning.
Interactive polling throughout the sessions enabled attendees to guide the direction of discussion, ensuring the event remained responsive to the interests of those present.
The conference generated £2,415 in proceeds, which will be donated to three local Headway groups: Teesside, Darlington & District, and Hartlepool – organisations that provide critical support for individuals recovering from brain injuries.
Amy Crosby, director and nurse case manager at Evolve Case Management, said: “We are proud of the conversations that emerged from the conference and the engagement from attendees across the sector.
“Our aim was to shine a light on the realities faced by clients post-litigation and to encourage collaborative thinking around how we, as professionals, can better support them.”

Plans are already underway to establish “Life After Litigation” as a biannual event, with a continued focus on knowledge-sharing and cross-sector collaboration.
