Search is on for Law Firm of the Year

Law firms who truly go the extra mile for their clients after life-changing brain or spinal cord injury are encouraged to enter the first-ever NR Times Awards.

The awards seek to recognise excellence, innovation and client-focus across the spectrum of neuro-rehab, with the role of a law firm being a key part of that.

The Law Firm of the Year Award seeks to recognise the contribution of those law firms who go over and above for their clients, to secure access to rehabilitation to support their recovery, helping them to achieve the best possible outcome.

Dedication to clients, innovative practice, maximising the value of relationships, overcoming obstacles to a claim and legal excellence will all be judged as part of this award.

This award is one of 12 open for entry in the inaugural NR Times Awards, which are set to become an annual event to recognise the individuals, organisations and initiatives working in neuro-rehab which are truly making a difference to people’s lives, both now and in the future.

The Law Firm of the Year Award is sponsored by Chroma, the UK’s largest and leading provider of HCPC-regulated creative arts therapies services.

Chroma, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, is commissioned by NHS and private hospitals, brain injury case managers, local authorities, schools and residential nursing and care homes across the UK.

Daniel Thomas, managing director of Chroma, says: “We’re absolutely delighted to be sponsoring this award at the first-ever NR Times Awards.

“We are really looking forward to celebrating how the legal sector is working collaboratively with case managers, allied health professionals and the wider healthcare community to support clients.

“Entries should demonstrate real creativity, flexibility and holistic approaches to working with clients, while also highlighting to the wider readership of NR Times great practice in neuro-rehabilitation, enabling them to gain a greater understanding of the medico-legal rehabilitation process.”

Deborah Johnson, editor of NR Times, adds: “The choice of the right law firm and lawyer can be absolutely fundamental in securing the best outcome for the individual. We know the tireless work that goes into ensuring this is the case, and we want to recognise that through this award.

“We’d love to receive entries from law firms working in the field of brain and spinal cord injury, whose work is supporting clients and their families to rebuild their lives and whose commitment to these clients is absolutely second to none.”
