Kemi Rodgers has raised £5,000 for a brain injury charity after appearing on ITV’s Celebrity Catchphrase.
The broadcaster, presenter and voiceover artist chose to play for Headway Sussex on the television game show, with the money going towards the charity’s work with people affected by brain injury across Sussex.
During the programme, Rodgers spoke about Headway Sussex and her family’s connection to the charity after it supported her father following a brain injury.
By sharing her story on a national platform, she helped raise awareness of the challenges faced by brain injury survivors and the importance of accessible, specialist support services.
Headway Sussex said the funds raised will support its ongoing work across Sussex, helping people rebuild independence, confidence and connection within their communities.
A spokesperson for Headway Sussex said: “We are incredibly thankful to Kemi for choosing to support us and for speaking so openly about her family’s experience. The funds raised will make a real and lasting difference to the people we support every day.”
The appearance also helped raise awareness of life after brain injury and the support available for individuals and families in Sussex.
